Science X Art
A maker studio with a knack for science.
Run by a PhD
Pieces made to learn, love & live .
Studio Dr. Chloe
> a learn (logos), love (pathos), live (ethos) philosophy
Studio Dr. Chloe makes useful things for you. And explains the science.
Each creation invites you to learn something about science, to fall in love with our planet again, and to live a little more consciously, clearly, and well.
Everything I make aims to teach, to be loveable and genuinely useful.
My techniques range from sewing and constructing to painting and wood crafting. Behind it all stands an analytical mind, full of science, systems thinking and a deep appreciation of our environment.
Hypothesis: you’ll find something you learn from, love, or live better with. Scroll down to test it.
Dr. Who?
> Dr. Chloe
PhD in environmental science and technology
Yes, I really have a PhD. My story starts with this young, fearless child that turned every stone to see what hides under it. Today, I am a passionate scientist, environmental advocate and water expert, tackling microplastic pollution, biodiversity loss and climate change.
I’ve always been a maker by heart and now I’m adding this to my storyline, to share it with you.
Science explained through art: I make things between the motivation to explain and teach and the drive to create and belong. In my pieces I seek the connections to nature, through metaphors, making with meaning, usefulness and practicality.
I want to create a connection with you, the visitor, and give you the confidence that life has great things to offer.

Collaboration alert
I m currently searching for a German or Netherlands (or close by)-located collaborator to create a special suitcase collection for 2027. I bring a concept, my creative mind and some sewing skills, but I want to complement this with a technical sewer/maker/artist who has experiences with suitcase making. Is it you? Do you know someone? Lets’ talk.
